Team Hammer, Inc. is racing as Team M4 Monster Energy Suzuki in the 2010 AMA Pro Daytona SportBike and American Guard Superbike Series.

Team Hammer has raced to victories and Championships with Suzuki motorcycles for over 30 years, including more than 25 years running the company's outstanding GSX-R line of sportbikes.

Team M4 Monster Energy Suzuki races the Suzuki GSX-R600 in the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike class. The GSX-R600's 599cc, liquid-cooled engine was the first to feature titanium valves, previously restricted to special race engines but now found stock in all GSX-R models. With a bore and stroke of 67mm x 42.5mm, the Suzuki engine revs high and makes plenty of linear, controllable power, whether stock or as modified to the limit of Daytona SportBike rules. Rear suspension includes an Ohlins TTX racing shock, while the front suspension consists of inverted forks, re-valved with Ohlins internal racing cartridges.

M4 Monster Energy Suzuki runs the class-dominating GSX-R1000K9 in AMA Pro American Superbike. Suzuki’s flagship model has a bore and stroke of 74.5 mm x 57.3, displacing 999cc, and titanium valves help the big-bore, short-stroke GSX-R1000 engine reach a redline of 13,750 rpm. In Superbike race trim the GSX-R1000 puts out 184 bhp at the rear wheel. A Bazzaz Z-Fi TC unit provides perfect engine management system mapping at the track with adjustable traction control to improve lap times.

Standard inverted front forks are fitted with Ohlins internal racing cartridges, and the standard triple clamps are replaced with aftermarket clamps featuring adjustable offsets. An Ohlins TTX rear racing shock is used with a racing rear linkage. A GPR adjustable steering stabilizer is fitted to every racebike fielded by Team Hammer.

Team Hammer prefers the superior wind protection and streamlining provided by Hotbodies Racing’s double-bubble windscreen and affordable, lightweight fiberglass bodywork. Vortex hand and foot controls are also used on all M4 Monster Energy Suzuki machines. DID 520 ERV-3 X-Ring chain and Vortex hard-anodized aluminum-alloy sprockets efficiently transfer power from the engine to the rear wheel. For superior stopping power, Team Hammer uses Galfer USA carbon-compound brake pads, braided stainless-steel brake lines and wave-style brake rotors both front and rear. GPR steering stabilizers help keep the M4 Monster Energy Suzukis on course and under control even while accelerating hard over very bumpy sections of racetrack.

Team Hammer is fully supported by M4 Performance Exhaust Systems, a company originally founded by former Team Hammer lead rider Michael Martin, his father Robert and his two brothers Richard and Robert, which equals four Martin family members, or M4. Richard Martin and his son Kyle Martin now own and run the company, working closely with Team Hammer's Keith Perry on the R&D for each dyno-developed system used by the team. M4 Performance Exhaust Systems are built using with stainless steel or titanium construction to provide light weight, long life and good looks, and come with aluminum or stainless steel spigots. Most models have tapered head pipes and O-ring spigot seals, and all have polished stainless steel or titanium silencer end caps and tail pipes. Full race systems and slip-on or bolt-on mufflers are available in a choice of polished aluminum, black aluminum, carbon-fiber or oval titanium.
