2-Up Superbike Program

2-Seat Superbike Rides

Do you want to go really fast? Take the racetrack ride of a lifetime on the back of the M4 Monster Energy Suzuki 184-horsepower, 2-seat GSX-R1000 Superbike, piloted by current AMA Superbike racer Chris Ulrich. Rides are available in two programs.

2-Seat Media Outreach Program

Since 2001, Team Hammer has offered racetrack rides on a 2-seat racebike to help television, radio and print reporters understand the sport of motorcycle road racing. The resulting publicity also helps promote specific racing events.

Media rides are usually scheduled on the Thursday proceeding an AMA Pro Racing event weekend.

2-Seat Fundraiser Program

On the weekend following each Thanksgiving since 2005, Chris Ulrich and Team Hammer have partnered with Fastrack Riders and Roadracingworld.com to offer 2-Seat Superbike rides to members of the general public. In exchange for a cash donation, Ulrich takes donors for a couple of fast laps around Auto Club Speedway's 2.3-mile, 21-turn infield road course on the M4 Monster Energy Suzuki GSX-R1000.

Since its inception in 2005, this annual fund-raising event has delivered hundreds of 2-seat rides with a 100% safety record. In 2009 alone, Ulrich took 57 different riders around the Auto Club Speedway course at speed, completing 180 laps (414 miles) with a passenger.

All proceeds benefit the Roadracing World Action Fund, a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization which advocates and promotes the use of soft barriers to help prevent rider injuries at racetracks.
