Team M4 EMGO Suzuki got off to a hot start, literally, on Friday at Miller Motorsports Park. Despite having to contend with triple digit temperatures, the squad put in a pair of top-five practice performances and claimed a second row grid position during the day.

MAY SECOND IN ROAD AMERICA SUPERSTOCK

CARDENAS THIRD IN ELKHART FORMULA XTREME
Team M4 EMGO Suzuki built upon Friday's success at Road America with a podium-winning performance on Saturday. Substitute rider Martin Cardenas put in a stirring ride in the 10-lap Formula Xtreme race to claim a stellar third-place result for the team in his very first race filling in for the injured Michael Barnes in the class.

GEOFF MAY FASTEST IN ROAD AMERICA SUPERSPORT PRACTICE
Team M4 EMGO Suzuki got off to a spectacular start at Road America on Friday, claiming the top spot in one class and showing impressive speed in the others. Both the team's full-time ace, Geoff May, and substitute rider Martin Cardenas played starring roles on the opening day of action at the four-mile long circuit near Elkhart Lake, WI.

Team M4 EMGO Suzuki concluded the Infineon Raceway weekend on a high note, claiming their best finish thus far in the 2007 AMA season. Geoff May piloted his powerful Suzuki GSX-R1000 to a fantastic second-place finish in the Superstock race following an intense 17-lap race to the checkered flag.

CARDENAS TO SUBSTITUTE FOR BARNES AT INFINEON RACEWAY
With Michael Barnes out of Sunday's Infineon Raceway Supersport race with a broken wrist, Martin Cardenas will substitute for Team M4 EMGO Suzuki. Cardenas, from Colombia, is 25-years old. Martin had qualified 20th for the race on a privateer machine. He has experience racing in numerous series around the world, including the 250 Grand Prix World Championship.

Team M4 EMGO Suzuki had its share of highs and lows at Infineon Raceway on Saturday. The squad enjoyed a successful afternoon of qualifying for Sunday's Superstock and Supersport finals, but the day ended in bitter disappointment in the Formula Xtreme contest.
